For the next six weeks, a video message from a Columban Missionary will be posted, explaining what each of these colors represent, and how they form part of the forces driving the world into the state it is in.
Advent Christmas 2020
This is the time of year for us to reflect on who Jesus really is in our lives. Sino nga ba ang ating Mesiyas na isinilang sa mundo sa araw ng Pasko?

I have learned that hope gives birth to courage, and courage leads to creativity; and that creativity opens the door for the fruits of the spirit to dwell within. But one may ask, ‘What comes before hope?’ I believe it is trust. Before trust comes gratitude.

During these difficult times of natural and man-made calamities, and the current coronavirus pandemic, we may find ourselves asking, “To what or to whom do we hang-on to? Cling to? What keeps us moving?”

"In trying times, Jesus especially challenges us to show His love to the vulnerable and the victims of injustices. "

We need to care not only because caring is our birth right, or because we are driven by our natural desire for sustenance and life. We must care not only for our love of nature’s beauty nor for our hope of an abundant life. We simply must care just as our Creator and Father cares.

In this Advent and Christmas seasons, I reflect upon our present realities. “Will there still be Joy?” My answer is YES.
